“Remember to help the poor.”
Love And Hope in Action would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to these local congregations that are fulfilling the mandate in Galatians 2:10 and helping LAHIA serve those in need in our community. We couldn't do it without them!
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Railway Road, Stuart
For the past seven years, St. Luke’s has been committed to helping out with showers on Saturdays. The parishioners also hand out a bag with personal hygiene products to each of our campers. This is a wonderful help to those we serve.

Every Tuesday for the past seven years, volunteers from Covenant Fellowship provide an awesome lunch for our guests. Pastor Jay Holland also brings in his youth group during the school year to serve and clean the kitchen and dining room.
Palm City Presbyterian Church, Martin Highway, Palm City
On the third Friday of each month, the deacons of Palm City Presbyterian provide a delicious “king’s breakfast feast" for those we serve. What a treat this is!
Christ Fellowship Church, Pratt and Whitney Road, Stuart
The Christ Fellowship men's bible group serves dinner and cleans up every Monday, followed by a study from The Word of God. Although they are a men's group, they invite both men and women to join them. They also donate bibles to our LAHIA ministry.
Episcopal Church of The Advent, Citrus Boulevard, Palm City
On the second and fourth Monday of each month, the Episcopal Church brings scrumptious sandwiches to feed the hungry. This “sandwich ministry” was started three years ago by Mary Ann and Joe Novick. The congregation also spends $500 on groceries every two months for our feeding ministry.
Coastal Life Church, 34th Street, Palm City
For nearly three years, Coastal Life Church has been collecting camper supplies and food for those in need.

Over the past five years, the church has never failed to help out individuals in need. The St. Mary’s Thrift Store also donates household items and clothing.
