Volunteer Highlight - Christina Cronin

One blessed day in April of this year, Christina Cronin responded to an ad she saw in the paper and dropped by the LAHIA kitchen to volunteer at lunch time. We believe she was a God-send and she now cheerfully serves as our full-time kitchen coordinator.

Chris lives with her husband, Ken and 14-year-old son, Ian as well as Ian’s male Daschund/mini-pincher mix named “Kitty” (seriously!). Chris resigned from her job as a cook to work for the Lord after she told Him she wanted to live for Him. In her words, “God LED me to you, to everyone there. If I hadn’t humbled myself and asked Him to help me change, I would’ve never had the opportunity and the pleasure to be blessed with what I’m doing at LAHIA. He changed me from within and I love Him sooo much for what He has done. He has given me the desires of my heart. I enjoy cooking, serving and comforting His people.”

Thank you, Chris, for what you bring to LAHIA. Your joy is contagious, your love is unconditional and you work hard to be a blessing to each one who walks through the kitchen door. We thank God for you!!
