On November 20th, the Treasure Coast Food Bank brought their mobile pantry via a large refrigerated truck to us. The truck was loaded with 4,936 pounds of free food for our client/friends and neighbors in need. Groceries were distributed that day to 102 households which housed 374 individuals. Included in this great amount of food were 95 turkeys in time for Thanksgiving as well as some Publix gift cards once they ran out of turkeys. The folks left with their bags full of bread, pastries, fresh produce and canned goods. We are so grateful to TCFB for partnering with LAHIA to fulfill the needs of those we serve.
