Treasure Coast Food Bank

In September of 2007, LAHIA became a Martin County agency for the Treasure Coast Food Bank. Each Saturday after the gospel service and lunch, we give out filled grocery bags with a variety of nutritious food items, to those who are homeless or find themselves in very hard times. Due to the generosity of local grocery stores, restaurants and donors, we are able to give more than canned foods. Produce and bakery items are frequently given as well.

We currently give out bags of groceries to 30-50 households each week, which serves about 80-90 individuals. We are blessed to be able to provide so well to our client friends and are happy to be a channel to serve in this way.
